About the Instructor

 

Jay "Dj LyRiX" Rivas is One of the best Dj's in the Industry. With his amazing resume and ability to mix any style of music, he has hit So-Cal with the true abilities that is a Dj.

 

 His background comes from following Dj Mike Daniel of Pure Gold Records and D.Y.P (Darlene Yvonne Productions) since 1996 Break Dancing for them in the San Fernando Valley. He was also influenced by world renowned Dj's Such as Dj Icey Ice owner of Stacks Vinyl and Dj Virman of Power 106, Far East Movement and Rotations record pool. Being a part of their circle and record pools, Dj LyRiX advanced strong into the scene working in Orange County covering all of Down Town Fullerton and Los Angeles. 

 

In 2008 Jay decided to start a DJ school to help youths off the streets and it grew to be a success.
